Greetings Dachshunds,

Save the date! Saturday, January 23, 2010 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM, dachshunds will gather from near and far to celebrate our tiny wonderfulness. The South Beach Dachshund Winterfest takes place in Lummus Park off Ocean Drive between 11th & 12th Streets in Miami Beach. Doxie song, treats, fun, games, photos, political power and more. We're still working on festivity details and will get back to you shortly with those, but basic info can be found at www.DachshundWinterfest.com.

Again this year, we're asking your human to consider bringing a flea/​tick or heartworm treatment (such as Frontline, Advantix, Interceptor, Heartguard, etc.) to donate to rescued doxies. Easy to toss in a purse or pocket on the way out the door, and even easier to drop off at the Dachshund Rescue of South Florida table at the 'fest. Count your lucky dachshunds and help another.
